Infrared Roasting

Eco-friendly   Organic Specialty Coffee uses healthy and sustainable infrared light to dry and separate the coffee seeds from the surrounding fruit. This is a cutting-edge technology that our company has developed in cooperation with Dr. Jorge Gavidia in Peru.

Most coffee cherries globally are processed with water, in order to separate the seed from the fruit, wasting and polluting billions of gallons of drinking water in the process. This is unnecessary, outdated and unsustainable.

has a better idea: Infrared Roasting.

Infrared Roasting is a completely natural process just as infrared light is an invisible blessing that comes from the sun. It is far superior to every other technique used in the world today.

Infrared roasting safeguards our customers from the risk of elevated free radicals occurring in the beans during and after the roasting process. Highly noteworthy is the consistent formation of significantly lower acidity levels of citric, malic and formic acids found within the roasted beans. When monitored and compared to conventional roasting, infrared roasted beans show positive changes at an earlier stage. As roasting proceeds, the infrared roasted beans contain all three of these healthy elements in smaller amounts. This enables predictability for all of our beans to be roasted to perfection, without variation in taste.

Agroecologist, sustainability expert & co-founder of   Professor Jorge Gavidia:

“Our high elevation coffee is from the most exclusive districts in Peru, with full traceability through an inbuilt GPS system in every bag. Our coffee is 100% pollutant-free and always infrared roasted at the source by technicians I have personally trained. At present, only 2% of coffee beans in the world are roasted using infrared light. Ours is the original & most efficient, bringing forth a  superior flavor & aroma. Experts discovered that infrared roasting can most consistently guarantee both the smoothest and best flavor. I was involved in developing the first infrared roaster for green coffee a decade ago in South Korea.
With our unsurpassed new technology, we can humbly claim the highest quality in the world with superb taste. This gives us a truly unique marketing edge.”
