Specialty Coffee was founded by Rory Kaye, who came up with the vision for this project on the train in Machu Picchu, Peru. Rory saw the divine beauty in the traditional indigenous communities in the Pasco region of Peru, situated in the most biodiverse areas of the Amazonian Andes. This is where Rory learned of the deep sense of cultural identity rooted in modern and ancestral knowledge, which led to the creation of the brand values.
